Ford Motor Company is proud to celebrate Memorial Day, Flag Day and July 4th by honoring our Military Heroes. The National Ford Military Appreciation program is being increased. Amounts vary by region and will extend eligibility to include ALL military Veterans*. In addition, some regions will also enhance the First Responder offer. Eligible consumers:
- Active Duty: Active Military Personnel in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard National Guard, Reservists Serving on Active Duty, spouses and surviving spouses and members of the Delayed Entry/Enlistment Program (DEP)
- Retirees: A military retiree is any member or former member of the uniformed services who is entitled, under statute, to retire or retirement (this typically requires 20 years of service). A military retiree receives a pension. This also includes those with a medical retirement.
- All Veterans: A person who served in the active military, naval, or air service, and who was discharged or released there from conditions other than dishonorable.
Program opened to all Veterans regardless of separation date during campaign timing, as noted above. Upon end of regional offer, the program will revert back to only those Veterans within 2 years of separation

REGISTRATION AND VERIFICATION OF ELIGIBILITY
All Military customers must verify eligibility via the website http://www.fordsalutesthosewhoserve.com. Once verified, customers will instantly receive a certificate number that will be used to claim the program. Certificate must be obtained PRIOR to purchasing their vehicle.
During the registration process, customers will be verified by "ID.me", which is a 3rd party verification service that is linked to the government databases that contain information.
Once verified, the customer will receive the certificate number which in turn needs to be provided to the dealer to be claimed.
NOTE: Customer must use their email address when registering for the Military Appreciation Bonus Cash.
